Carly lives in Moonlight Falls - or as I've come to think of it "the very rainy world".
She bought a lovely piece of land right across the road from the Petite Pony Equestrian Center with easy access to fishing and what Carly suspects will be good soil to plant her garden in.
What made Carly settle down in Moonlight Falls, you might wonder - that world is so full of strange beings and... rain, let's not forget the rain. Well, mostly it was the fact that her Watcher had never played in that world before but also... who wouldn't want to have fairies and werewolves as friends, neighbours and co-workers?
Speaking of co-workers. Carly had found the perfect job down at Town Hall. She would start out as a glorified cleaning lady aka Podium Polisher but that didn't stop Carly from dreaming way bigger - just wait till they heard about her eco-friendly ideas for city waste disposal!
Carly did her very best to befriend some of her co-workers but it was tough at first. Probably because she managed to ruin a surprise party and a lunch break all within the first week - it's not easy being a loser!
One co-worker, Dwayne Wolff, did take pity on her and invited her to a party during the weekend.
Carly arrived at the party, expecting and hoping to meet some cool and interesting Sims - and she did.
Carly had been hoping that maybe she could find someone interesting and sweet enough that she would want to date them - it turned out to be a rather tough crowd when it came to sweetness. Interesting was easy enough... but hmm, yeah... Carly decided to explore her options a bit more.
On her way home from the party, Carly had her very first fairy sighting and she decided to go and say hello to the guy.
She fell for him right then and there. His sweet and childish behaviour had her heart fluttering and the fact that he was a 10/10 on Carly's scale for who's hot and who's not helped a whole lot on deciding that this was the man for her! (The fact that he looks like a weird mix of a young Drew Carey and my RL next door neighbour - with fairy wings, is a bit disturbing to me as Carly's Watcher but I won't deny my girl her dream man).
Things went as things tend to do in any Sims game.
Before they knew it the two of them were getting married in Carly's living room - and yes, I'm not 100% sure she was allowed to have a TV but she did - it had bad reception so they would probably have been better off without it.
Oh, sorry Carly and Branch - that's the fairy's name btw - Congratulations on getting married. Now go produce me some heirs, please!

Ah, yes, Carly reminds me so much of my own Sims: Marry the first person they come across so they begin producing children.
ReplyDeleteThe life of 90% of all Sims ever created - probably :P
DeleteOmg... I just realized I read the first two chapters out of order. My bad! Now it makes sense why the story seemed to jump right to the kids being born.
ReplyDeleteBranch and Carly are adorable together, although I am sorry that it's a bit awkward for you. :P
